"Always Look Up," the highly anticipated album by Van Zant, released November 22nd, 2024! This project brings together southern rock and gospel like never before... a collection of songs that offer hope, faith, and unity in these challenging times.
We’ve been so low that the only place we could go is to look up. I hope our music touches even one person—then our mission for Jesus Christ is done.
Johnny Van Zant
Van Zant represents a powerful musical dynasty. Johnny Van Zant took the helm of Lynyrd Skynyrd after the tragic loss of their brother Ronnie, while Donnie Van Zant co-founded .38 Special, carving out his own legacy in southern rock. Together, they’ve created a unique blend of southern rock, country, and gospel that reflects their deep family ties and unwavering faith. With decades of chart-topping hits, Van Zant continues to inspire fans with music that’s as heartfelt as it is powerful.
This has been on our bucket list for quite some time. We’re big believers in Jesus Christ, and with Always Look Up, we’re sharing that faith through our music.

“As Christians our job is to go out and to shout to the world with God’s truth,” says Donnie. “We’ve actually got a song on the album called ‘Warrior’ and the song reminds us that, as Christians, we need to fight for the Godly kingdom cause we have Satan and he’s there like a lion on a prowl, always trying to cause complete havoc. We need to be very vigilant, constantly aware and be warriors for God’s work.”
